Tropical Storm Hermine

Three weeks ago it was hotter than hellfire here.  104 was pretty much the norm.  I complained.  Everybody complained.  It hadn’t rained in weeks, and we were parched.  Somebody must have done the rain dance a little too well.  Tropical Storm Hermine came through yesterday, and it hasn’t stopped raining yet.  We’re all complaining again.

I’m sure somebody somewhere is attributing this to global warming somehow, but not me.  I’m blaming all those hard-praying Christians, an all those voodoo rain dances they probably do out west.  If they hadn’t been beggin’ for rain, we wouldn’t’ve  gotten it.  Somebody should tell them to stop their dancing already.  I’m tired of swimming.
